Underground Comedy Club

I’m getting an app for Underground Comedy Club

Social media, flyers, posters, word of mouth… since starting this adventure the biggest question has got to be how do we spread the word and build awareness of the Underground Comedy Club?

Over the past 12 months I have tried almost everything to build awareness and sell those all important tickets, though it seems that there is still something missing. It could be that the volume of social media or flyering etc. which needs to be increased massively.

I always see on Dragon’s Den that marketing will need to be in the 10’s of thousands to make a dent! Is the main problem that I’m just not doing enough? Or not investing enough?

Imagine if I went crazy and had adverts all over the place, on the tube and in every newspapers, would that really be money efficient? Would it really make a difference?

While I’m thinking about this, I pop on my phone and look through a couple of apps for banking and the weather, then the train times then… hang on a second. My whole life appears to be firstly via my phone and secondly via the apps on my phone.

When was the last time I used the internet to do something? Usually all the important websites have apps, and I just quickly pop onto the app and find what I am looking for straight away, and bang I’m already onto using the next app.

Is it possible to have an app of Underground Comedy Club? Is that crazy, surely apps cost thousands… right? Introduce C1app.com

C1APP.com

These guys have a slightly different way of building and supporting apps they create. Firstly it’s a fixed realistic cost and then it is a realistic monthly fixed fee for maintenance and tweaks.

The app will allow us to offer info on all events, as well as tickets, discounts and offer to all those who have downloaded the app. The added bonus will happen on the night of the event, where the audience will be able to interact with the MC whilst they are on stage via a live feed.

The live feed will be projected onto the wall behind the MC and create a buzz about the night. Imagine you take a photo of an act and then post it up on the wall with a comment. The MC could then read it out and bang your part of the night. Crumbs you might even steal the show.

Also if it can be live, everyone else who isn’t at the event will be able to watch the live feed whilst its happening too.

To get the app all you need to do it scan this image below and it’ll take to straight to in the app store. It’s free, so come and play
