Underground Comedy Club

New Venue: Green Milk Comedy @ The Pipeline (Liverpool St, London)

Underground Comedy Club is expanding.

With the Notting Hill venue happily rooted, the expanding idea is back on the cards. Obviously I wanted to go central and hire out the Lounge at the Leicester Square Theatre, but it just wasn’t going to work financially, and we are also expecting our first baby around that date!

Therefore if I am going to set up a new venue I am going to need a bit of help. Luckily two comedy chums were thinking the same thing and a mini partnership was born.

After viewing several venues we decided on the Pipeline in Liverpool St area. It’s an events room which has had some big comedy names over the years and has a capacity of 140.

After many discussions we felt the best way forward was to keep the Notting Hill venue separate, and create a new venue, so we are all starting fresh. It’s the best idea as already having the Notting Hill venue up and running made things too complicated.

The new comedy night will be known as Green Milk Comedy and the first night will be on the 5th Feb.

The experience would be priceless and the fact that we (Robin and myself) would be sharing the MC position would mean that I would get the opportunity to perform to a possible 140 people the most I would have ever performed to!

Here’s the poster for our first night.
