12 Sketches Script‐writing Competition Shortlist

The competition is now closed and all the scripts have been read and re‐read. There have been some really great laugh‐out‐loud moments and so many different characters, situations and even dimensions put forward.

Sadly there can only be 3 winning scripts, though to be honest we wish many more could win and we are in discussions about possibly filming a few runner‐up scripts as well.

Below is the shortlist of 16 scripts that we felt had real potential and these will be re‐read in depth before we decide on the final 3 winning scripts.

The final 3 winning scripts will be announced at the end of this week, so please keep an eye on the blog.

Everyone who entered a script and didn’t make it to the short‐list, we say a huge thank you for believing in us enough to enter the competition and wanting to be part of the first series of 12 Sketches in a London House. Without your support and donations we would have never been able to film the series.

You will all receive feedback on making your scripts even better and that will be arriving soon.

Also, you have another chance to win! We are having a new competition for Series 2, which will be launch shortly after series 1 has completed. So, once again, keep your eyes peeled or join the mailing list so you do not miss out.

This gives you all another chance to get your brilliant ideas off the paper and onto the screen.

Ok so waffle over here are the 16 shortlisted scripts:

  • Charlotte Vowles
