Stand up Comic! Are you crazy?

Supposedly the average person would rather be in the coffin than have to make a speech during a funeral, so ask them to add a slice of humour and it sudden starts soundly like the worst thing in the world!

So why do people do this, why do I want to do this?

I have secretly always wanted to entertain, even though it fills me with dread and fear! I would dream about performing and entertaining anyone and everyone.

I have always tried to make a joke whenever possible, sometimes people join in, even to the point of crying with laughter, whilst others have taken it the wrong way and mentioned words like sarcastic or even rude! Crumbs I have never intended to cause harm to anyone, if I have I’m sorry.

All I want is to laugh and, more importantly, make others laugh.

There is no feeling like it, you’re standing there in a group and by pointing something out or adding to another person’s sentence you can create images or scenarios within people’s minds strong enough for them to completely change their body language and facial expressions to the point of losing control and laughing!

Laughing is a moment where all the pretend exterior shell we hide behind melts away showing our true colours. It’s a beautiful moment I wish everyone did more often.

I have decided that my secret will be no more and I will stand up and say I want to make people laugh and yes being paid for that would be nice too.

I have decided to write about my journey for anyone and everyone to follow and enjoy. Hoping that you all take a bit out time out to think about your own lives and goals. Maybe 9 – 5 grind just isn’t you. I thought it was me and on the outside I pretended it very much was me, though on the inside there was always that little 5 year old me, saying what about fun time?

So please, join me on this journey. I’m sure it’s going to be interesting whether your laughing with me or at me. As long as your laughing, I’m laughing.
