Time to Announce the Winning Scripts for ’12 Sketches in a Shed’

Today we’re excited to announce the three winning scripts in our latest script writing competition, and who will be professionally filmed to become part of series 2 of our ’12 Sketches’ comedy web-series: ‘12 Sketches in a Shed‘.

It’s been great fun receiving and reading all the scripts and ideas from people all over the UK and a few for the US too! We had a fairly hard time choosing the shortlist and an even tougher time choosing the final three selected scripts.

It was actually so tricky to choose the final three that we’ve decided to add a fourth script. Therefore for this series we’ll be filming FOUR of the scripts from the competition. Whoop Whoop!

Also not forgetting that one of these four scripts will win £300 in yummy cash when the audience decides which filmed sketch out of the four is their favourite.

Ok the moment the whole world has been waiting for….drum roll please……

The Four Winning Scripts (In no particular order) are :

  • Shed for Sale by Lucy Mordini
  • Shed your Anger by Paul Mohan
  • Torture in a Shed by Travis Jamieson
  • Mr Bumble by Atherton Brothers

A big well done to all four winning scripts, we are really excited to include these into series 2 and we will be in touch very shortly to chat about the next stages of turning these scripts into professional filmed comedy sketches.

We would like to mention that we felt all the shortlisted scripts wrote some really funny stuff and we hope you use all the advice our script editing team game you to create even better scripts.

And finally a massive thank you to everyone else who has got involved. Without your support, we would not be able to create these sketch comedy web-series, so thank you for believing in us enough to get involved, we hope you all really enjoy series 2 as much as we will enjoy creating them.

There will be a competition of series 3 and we have loads of ideas in the pipeline where we want you all to get involved. Therefore please subscribe to our mailing list to keep up to date with all our comedy news and competitions and follow us on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook as well as come and watch the series on our Youtube Channel.

See you all soon.
